Tourist Attractions
If you’re
talking about Indonesia, some people may start thinking about the beaches and
the nature in Indonesia. I’m about to explain more about these tourist
attractions and how great they are. So what is the definition of these tourist
attractions? Well, to put it simply a tourist attraction is a place of interest
where tourists visit. It is typically for its inherent natural or cultural
value, historical significance, natural or built beauty, offering leisure,
adventure and amusement.
There are
many tourist attractions in this world; I’m going to give 4 examples of these
tourist attractions. The first one is called Borobudur; it is an ancient Iconic
and historical Buddhist temple. Then there’s Tanah Lot, it’s a temple with
water views. For the third tourist attraction is called Seminyak, it’s got
beaches, Pura (a Balinese temple), Petitenget and shopping. And last but not
least, Mount Bromo, in Java. It is a beautiful mountain with spectacular views.
Indoneisa has many different events, and some cultural events too. One of them takes place in Bali and usually begins before the day of silence, Nyepi. It happens in the night of 27th of March. The main purpose of the making of Ogoh-ogoh, in the form of demons or monsters, is for the purification of the natural environment of any spiritual pollutants emitted from the activities of living beings. The day after this ceremony is Nyepi, the day of silence, not making any noises, no TV and just peace and silence. This event happens every year in Bali. It is a great experience, I’ve made one and carried one around the block once. It was a great experience. Though it only last hours, the memory may last forever.
